Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. - “Million Linkage: Million Armor Ace Edition”

Summary

We handled the 2D animation part of “Million Linkage: Million Armor Ace Edition,” the 7.5th anniversary event of the smartphone game THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! THEATER DAYS (nicknamed “Mirishita”) from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc.

The event ran from 15:00 on December 25 to 14:59 on December 31, 2024. It depicts a story in which Kaori of the regular army and Karen of the rebel army face off, using the rich expression unique to 2D animation.

In the battle scenes we incorporated fast-paced movement and powerful staging, and used dynamic camerawork in the showdown between Kaori and Karen to heighten tension and force. The artwork created for the animation was also used for in-game card illustrations, strengthening the sense of unity between video and game.

The event was announced in an official Bandai Namco Entertainment press release on December 25, 2024, and the animation part was published on the official THE IDOLM@STER CHANNEL.
