Morisaka Global Co., Ltd. - Morisaka Global Animation “Picnic”

Summary

We produced the short animations “Picnic” and “Hide and Seek,” starring “Mochi Kawauso,” a character from the original plush “Mochi Series” offered by Morisaka Global Co., Ltd.

The Mochi Series is a plush brand known for its soft, squishy texture and rounded forms, and Mochi Kawauso is especially popular in Japan and overseas. The project came about through a campaign on the crowdfunding service CAMPFIRE, and was produced to share the character's appeal with more people.

The video expresses the plush's characteristic soft, squishy texture through color design and animated movement, aiming for a result that makes viewers feel affection for the character. We also created original BGM to match the world, adding to Mochi Kawauso's charm through music as well.

Both “Picnic” and “Hide and Seek” are available on YouTube.

Production Area

We handled the entire process: video composition, storyboards, character design for animation, animation, backgrounds, compositing, and BGM production.
