Summary
We planned and produced the animated commercial “Building the Future,” depicting people working in a variety of occupations in Tochigi Prefecture, for the Japanese Trade Union Confederation Tochigi Prefectural Federation (Rengo Tochigi).
Rengo Tochigi is a labor organization established in April 1990, made up of approximately 103,000 members and 33 industrial unions (about 320 labor unions including branches). It aims to build a labor movement rooted in the community and works on improving working conditions and providing free labor consultations. In the “Building the Future” commercial, everyday scenes of people in various occupations in Tochigi are depicted in animation, expressing the theme of working in Tochigi.
The video is composed entirely of animation and conveys an image of Tochigi through the figures of working people.
The commercial is featured on the top page of the Rengo Tochigi official website and is also published on the YouTube channel “Rentochi TV.”
