radiko Co., Ltd. - "Fan Engagement Through Radio" Commercial
Summary
We produced the animation for the new radiko commercial titled "Fan Engagement Through Radio." The piece explores the joy of fan engagement through radio, depicting how high school girls Ai (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu) and high school boy Makoto (voiced by Takuya Eguchi) find their daily lives enriched by their respective "favorites." We designed the characters with a friendly, contemporary aesthetic to resonate with radio listeners.
To convey the natural progression of emotions the characters experience, we incorporated many scenes with expressive facial movements. Beyond facial expressions, we utilized camera work and background effects to visually represent the sense of connection fans feel with their idols through radio.
The commercial features "Aishin" by Takaya Kawasaki as its musical score, with the composition carefully chosen to complement the warmth of the song. By achieving harmony between visuals and music, we aim to make the viewer feel how accessible and relatable fan engagement can be.
Through the visuals, we aim to convey the special moments radio brings and the joy of fan engagement, serving as a gateway to discovering the appeal of radio.
